Dear Friends,

On behalf of myself and my children, I thank you for supporting the shelter. We appreciate it, let me tell you. Some good news is what I, Delores, a resident of House of Hope, receive from the Shelter. I and my children and other families get love and counseling, sharing talk with other mothers as we learn about responsibility. This helps us to build our self-esteem. We are never alone and have lots of support from the staff.

Our meals are nutritious. We also have lots of fun. The kids' playroom is great. Volunteers bring lots of love. I had no love until I came here and I am very grateful for being here.

Thank you for your support. We are single Moms trying to build a foundation to move into our own apartments.

Thank you for your support. At House of Hope, we stick together like one.

Delores

When I arrived at House of Hope, pregnant and with a five-year old son, I was very scared. I felt I had no one to count on. The staff and residents quickly changed that. I soon realized all of the House of Hope staff were willing to do whatever they could to help with what I needed, and, most imporantly, continue to support me with any problems I might have. Now I have an apartment for myself, my son, and, soon, my newborn daughter. House of Hope staff continues to do whatever they can to help me with the things I need. It makes me very happy and secure to know I will continue to get the support, even after leaving HOH to move into New Hope Apartments. I would like to thank everyone for everything they have done for my son and me. You truly gave me HOPE!

Anne
